Conventional boilers, also referred to as heat only, traditional or regular boilers, operate your central heating system through a separate water cylinder and boiler.
Simply answer a few multiple choice questions about your existing boiler and we’ll give you a fixed price for a new boiler including all parts and installation
Conventional boilers generally tend to be found in older properties but they can still be a great boiler choice for modern homes that have a high demand for hot water or a large number of bathrooms. Requiring a hot water cylinder and cold water tank, conventional boilers may not be suitable for smaller properties.
These boilers have the ability to send the hot water to multiple taps at once without a loss of pressure or the flow getting weaker. Conventional boilers send hot water to your radiators and a separate hot water cylinder for storage.
It’s important to keep in mind that with a conventional boiler you will not be able to get instant hot water. Instead you will need to program your thermostat to heat the water in advance ready for use later on. As the hot water cylinder can only hold so much water, you may sometimes be left without instant access to hot water.
The price of a conventional boiler installation can vary quite a bit and will be influenced by your current central heating system and water flow. You can get a new boiler quote from us online to give you an instant, no obligation quote for how much a new boiler will cost in your home.
