I recently had a new boiler fitted by yourselves and would like to say thank you so much. My old boiler was a clunking clanking 15 year old thing and I never, in a million years was going to be able to afford a new one, especially as I am a single mum and only work part time.

After speaking to one of your advisors who assured me that through the Affordable Warmth scheme I qualified for the free boiler, I couldn’t believe it. You don’t normally get anything for free in this life — normally!!

From start to finish, everyone has been great, the advisor I originally spoke to, the inspector who came, the gentleman who fitted the boiler and the electrician where all great and Kevin, who came to look at my carpet!

So I would like to say a big huge thank you.

Dear Mr Pattison,

British Gas were my supplier of gas, electric and service so I turned to them for advice on how to improve the pressure to my showers. Advice given contracts signed. Their engineers arrived and eventually walked of site as the job, outlined by their sales man could not be done. After being lied to, receiving revised quotations on British Gas paper but with the letterhead torn off and unable to have matters in writing I decided that I should contact your company.

The contrast was so great that I felt it only fair that I should write to congratulate all involved, salesman, engineers and installation inspector on a job well done. From first to last your team were a credit to the company. With professionalism such as I received you should go from strength to strength.

A final thought, I suspect I had less contact with your colleagues from first visit to last than I spent trying to get British Gas to let me speak to a person in authority.

Hello Marie,

I had a boiler fitted from your company last week, I would like to say a big thank you! From the first person I spoke to on the phone, the gas fitter, the electrician and the inspector they were all so helpful and very professional. I was ill in bed on the day it was getting fitted and I thought “oh no what is the dust and mess going to be like?”. When I came down at the end of the fitting I was totally amazed there was no dust or things hanging about as I had expected. The gas fitter P Mason had cleaned up everything and took all the bits of packaging and rubbish. I would like to say thanks again to all involved in the work at my house. I would like to take the time to give you my personal feedback of my experience using Help-Link. In February my house was flooded due to a burst pipe in my loft. I phoned Help-Link, whose call handler was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Richard Knight turned up for our appointment promptly and was very sympathetic but knowledgeable about my situation, providing a complete solution at a very good price, helping me with the flexible finance deals.

When the second set of contractors arrived they would be what I would class as old school. I went through everything with them and felt fully confident to leave them with the key to my property. Upon completion I was shown the new system and how to use it.

I feel it appropriate to write regarding the recent installation of a new boiler in my property.

From the very first contact I have received nothing but the highest standard of service from everyone involved. I would especially like to thank the gentleman that carried out the installation, I don’t think I have ever experienced such attention to detail from a professional and I must commend him on the excellent work carried out.

Nothing was too much problem for this gentleman he assessed the job and found a better solution in relation to the waste pipe. His working practices were methodical, organised and efficient. It really is a pleasure to be dealt with in such a kind responsible way.

In my opinion the installer went above and beyond expectations and carried out his duties with the upmost regard for my property, everything was explained to me step by step and no mess or clearing up was required as he cleaned thoroughly as he went along.
