About the range

The Logic+ range of boilers combines energy-efficiency and convenience with their innovative features and compact design. In addition, they come with some impressive praise – they have earned the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2013 and Good Housekeeping Reader Recommended status in 2013, 2017 and 2018.

Made in the UK, these boilers are endorsed by the Energy Saving Trust which means that they have met industry-agreed standards for energy performance; so they could be good for your home environment as well as your finances.

Size and suitability

The Logic+ range of boilers are modern and compact. With dimensions of 700mm (H), 395mm (W) and 278mm (D), they are designed to be small enough to fit in a standard kitchen cupboard. They are discreet and could be placed in a variety of places in your home, thanks in part to the wide range of flueing options.

The Logic+ range includes combi, system and heat only boilers:

Each of these Logic+ boiler systems come with different kW outputs available. The size suitable for your home will typically depend upon your central heating needs.

When looking for a new boiler, it’s important to consider the kW output. This output reflects how capable the boiler is to cope with your household’s heating demands. This can be ascertained by considering the number of bathrooms and radiators that you have in your house. The harder working you need your boiler to be, the higher the kW output you’ll generally require.

Boiler range kW output Type Suitability
Logic+ Combi 24, 30 and 35 Combi boiler Small to medium-sized homes with low to average heating and hot-water demands.
Logic+ Heat 12, 15, 18, 24 and 30 High-efficiency heat boiler Homes with sufficient storage space, plus an average demand for hot water and heating in multiple locations in the home.
Logic+ System 15, 18, 24 and 30 System boiler Medium to large properties with a higher demand for hot-water and heating in multiple locations.

Ideal Logic+ boilers are considered appropriate for new or replacement installations and are compatible with a range of additional controls, including weather compensation that is designed to automatically adjust the system controls according to the weather outside, and smart thermostats which are designed to enhance homeowners’ control over their central heating.

New boiler systems can be expensive, but by installing a new energy-efficient heating system you could make savings on your energy bills [2]. It is estimated that Ideal Logic+ boilers range in price from around £800 to £1,100 without installation. One of Help-Link’s Gas Safe registered engineers could fit a Logic+ boiler quickly and easily into your home as they are typically easy to install.
