Warm Front makes homes warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient. The Warm Front Scheme provides a package of insulation and heating improvements up to the value of £3,500 (or £6,000 where oil, low carbon or renewable technologies are recommended). It is a Government-funded initiative and the scheme is managed by eaga.
If you own your own home or rent it from a private landlord, you may be eligible for a grant under the Warm Front Scheme.
If you are over 60, own or privately rent your home and do not qualify for a Warm Front Grant because you do not receive a relevant benefit, you may be eligible for a £300 rebate.
This rebate is available to help towards repairing or replacing an inoperable system or installing a new central heating system. The cost of work must be over £300 Inc VAT and is only available in English Local Authority Areas
If your home currently has electric or coal heating, including focal fires, there could be grant funding to help towards the cost of a new energy efficient gas, oil or LPG central heating system.
This applies to home owners or a private landlord looking to switch to more energy efficient system.
